November 23, 2024

In a landmark move that demonstrates the commitment of the Philippines’ leading integrated property developer to community and faith-based initiatives, Vista Land has donated 1.2 hectares of land to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Malolos.

Located on the second node called Avignon within Provence, the property is designated as the site of La Sainte Famille Church and a new school to be managed by the administrators of the Immaculate Conception School for Boys (ICSB).

Officers from Vista Land, including North Luzon Division Head Ailene Sarmiento and Concept Development Officer Engr. Laimar Lucena, led the groundbreaking and blessing of the church and school site. They were joined by Msgr. Pablo Legaspi Jr., parish priest of the Holy Spirit Alido Church, Provence sub-parish pastoral council president Tina Reyes, and vice president and treasurer Sally Heitkamp.

“We are breaking ground not only to a place of worship but to a spiritual community rooted in heritage. The award-winning Provence, named the Best Township Development by DOT Property and Best Premium House in Luzon by Lamudi The Outlook 2024, has been designed to foster connections and house spaces where life can be celebrated in all its forms. Today, this dream takes on greater meaning with the birth of a location dedicated to reflection and service,” shares Sarmiento in her welcome speech.

Provence, a 350-hectare master planned development in Malolos, Bulacan, is inspired by the refined elegance and sophistication of southeastern France. Echoes of a storied past resonate along every cobbled pathway leading to neighborhoods of exposed brick, native stone, and terracotta, meticulously crafted to capture Provencal architecture with contemporary flair.

Provence beckons to embark on an immersive lifestyle experience through its three distinct nodes that epitomize premium living in Bulacan: Monte Carlo, Avignon, and Nice.

Recognized as a hallmark of grand living in Provence, Monte Carlo draws inspiration from its namesake district in Monaco to infuse the estate with a highly urban ambience. Featuring a Vista Mall offering a plethora of retail experiences, a state-of-the-art hospital ensuring residents’ well-being, and educational institutions shaping the minds of future generations, its residential enclave Monte Carlo Towers will punctuate the skyline as a symbol of elegance and grandeur.

Avignon includes a neighborhood center anchored to a majestic church galleria, an al fresco events venue for social gatherings, and a commercial complex for day-to-day essentials. Its vertical communities nurture a sense of belonging while meticulously maintained landscape areas pay homage to the historic City of Popes.

Nice, the crown jewel of Provence, is the center of excellence within the exquisite estate. Mirroring the essence of its French namesake, it is poised to become the premier social and business district in Malolos City. Its shops and mixed-use commercial centers buzz with economic activity, providing unmatched business opportunities and propelling the city toward prosperity and growth.

Provence is ideally situated along MacArthur Highway, near the Tabang and Pulilan exits of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX). In addition to driving through the expressways, it can be reached through the Tutuban-Malolos Railway, the Malolos-Clark Railway, and the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR), with additional connectivity through Clark International Airport and the upcoming New Manila International Airport.

The city-in-brief is situated to allow residents easy movement between North and South Luzon and enable convenient access to Metro Manila. Under optimal conditions, travel to and from the capital region can take as little as 30 minutes.

Provence aims to offer Filipino families a home, community, and workplace where a fulfilling lifescapes—often perceived as only a dream—becomes a tangible reality.

The recent Gift of Grace memorandum of agreement signing ceremony, held at Brittany Hotel in Bonifacio Global City, brought together Manny Villar, Chairman of the Villar Group of Companies, and Camille Villar, Managing Director of Vista Land, with His Excellency Bishop Dennis C. Villarojo, D.D. As a gesture of support to the initiative, Villar contributed PHP 2 million in cash toward the development of these projects.

In his address, Manny Villar emphasized the importance of incorporating these infrastructures within developments to provide residents and communities with a peaceful sanctuary for reflection and spirituality. “The commitment of Vista Land is to build inclusive communities with a heart, where individuals and families have access not only to residences that enrich their quality of life, but to a deep sense of connection and belonging,” Villar stated.

Translating to ‘The Holy Family,’ La Sainte Famille Church is intended to be a central place for worship for residents of Provence and nearby neighborhoods. Envisioned to be built with modern architecture that honors solemnity and welcome, the church symbolizes the dedication of Vista Land to deliver integrated communities that cater to the spiritual, social, and practical aspects of contemporary lifestyles.

Bishop Villarojo expressed gratitude on behalf of the diocese, noting that the new church will serve as a beacon of faith for the community and bring residents together through worship and fellowship. He thanked Villar and Vista Land for an accessible venue to nurture a supportive community grounded in faith.

Upon completion, La Sainte Famille Church will host regular Masses, religious gatherings, and community events, while the Catholic school exclusively for boys will initially open enrollment for elementary-level students.
